School system for autism children in orange unified school district?

Hi. My son is 4. he was diagnosed with mild to moderate autism. He will be placed in a special ed preschool in Crescent elementary school in anaheim, orange county starting august. My question is that should we keep him in private school/day care and private speech therapy like he's been doing for the past two months or withdraw him and put him in public special ed preschool? he will be around special need children with maybe one or two typical kids as peer model. he will also get 40 minutes of speech therapy per week with the school district. what should i do? does anyone knows the effectiveness of orange unified school district in dealing with autistic children? thanks
