MOT, Service and Repairs seem expensive?

My Fiance has just had a service, MOT and repairs carried out in her Mini. It is a 2003 plate and has mileage of 93K. The invoice also stated replace front and rear brake discs and pads, change brake fluid and replace corroded brake pipes (for MOT). The total invoice cost including VAT is �663.82. I thought that this seems expensive. The labour rate is �40 per hour + Vat. Does anyone have any thoughts on whether this seems excessive?
