Hot tea spilled on laptop. Any danger of the tea destroying plastics and releasing toxic chemicals?

I spilled hot tea right on my laptop today. I'm currently drying it out, but I was wondering if it was possible that the tea might have corroded some of the plastics that are protecting the toxic chemicals in the laptop. I know there are a lot less dangerous chemicals in computers than there once were but the possibility still scares me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
