Does the free market corrode moral character?

There is nothing immoral about buying and selling your own property. In a free society, that is inherent. There is terrible immorality, however, in taking someones property and giving it to the government thinking they will distribute it evenly. Thievery, even if institutionalized and called "good" by the government, is still just that.
